Welcome to Approaching the Sublime

This blog is a companion to The Literature of Awe, the blog associated with the course on this topic being taught January-April 2014 at Brigham Young University. The other blog is the instructor's blog and a location where students whose posts have reached a certain level of refinement can appear. This blog, on the other hand, is a common blog where students can bring up and develop ideas, especially those they have first explored in their paper wonder journal or that they have posted about briefly while microblogging on Google+ or elsewhere. This will also be a location where the instructor will invite certain topics to be addressed and where brainstorming and content development may occur.
